The school’s music program is designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of music, including dynamics, melodic progression, pitch, patterns, and scales, encouraging early musical exploration and development. Students simultaneously develop social skills and coordination of both fine motor and gross motor movements, all while learning through the target language. The symbols that constitute music are learnt by each child, while they engage in learning in a sustainable, kinesthetic way. As teachers demonstrate music, students listen attentively, developing an appreciation for music and integrating music into their daily lives.
As a Music Teacher at the Kindergarten level, you will:
● Design and deliver a collaborative, exploratory music curriculum that promotes deep, comprehensive learning
● Create a welcoming, supportive, and respectful learning environment
● Work collaboratively with colleagues each day to continuously improve student development and school culture, with a strong focus on meeting the individual needs of every student
● Maintain credibility and confidence amongst colleagues and parents
